Scarlett's link renewable energy and multi fuel heating systems into modern and traditional, residential and commercial properties. Understanding the fabric of a building, the intention of the architect and the lifestyles of the occupants are key to successfully adding biomass boilers (wood logs, pellets and chips), solar thermal panels, air source or ground source heat pumps alongside push button heating systems, thermal stores and their controls.
Time Served Experience
We have been within the construction and solid fuel heating industry since 1991 specialising in wood burning boilers and since 2002 we have been perfecting renewable energy heating techniques.

Scarlett's are a long serving HETAS registered company that has researched, designed and installed many types of renewable heating systems incorporating Biomass, Solar and Heat Pump technologies. We hold qualifications as Domestic Energy Assessors and Green Deal Assessors. This combination of skills puts us in the right place to offer the complete renewable energy design packages.
Our Mission
We use our business as a tool to fulfil the potential of efficient biomass wood burning where the fuel is sourced directly from the local environment, our sustainable and sympathetic woodland management projects have shown the positives of looking after ancient coppice woodlands while planting new trees alongside urban and rural society.
Funded through our customers energy bills we have put a price on the local fuel sourced throughout Essex and London. From street trees to a lonely field oak, we make looking after nature a financial necessity. Our woodland management, log supplies and log storage solutions are all important projects designed to explore every finer detail and help realise the full potential of sustainable local biomass heating solutions whilst enhancing native biodiversity and creating green spaces for all to enjoy.
Award Winning Recognition
In 2008 the BBC reported on our sustainable wood log supplies from Belfairs woods in Southend on Sea. In 2009 we went on to win Essex Countywide business of the year and Southend Borough Environmental business of the year. In 2013 we won the prestigious national & international Green Apple Award for sustainable energy. We picked up our award from the Houses of Parliament.
